A new trio of low-power operational amplifiers from Texas Instruments offers the option of micro-size SC70 packages

'By shrinking the successful OPA34x series amplifiers into SC70 packages, TI provides designers with an unmatched family of low-power, low-voltage signal conditioning solutions for space-sensitive communications and consumer applications', said Tadija Janjic, strategic marketing engineer of TI's high-performance amplifier products.

'In addition to micro-package options, these devices offer excellent speed/power ratios, DC precision, low-voltage operation and rail-to-rail performance at a low price'.

The OPA347 offers a speed/power ratio of 20uA quiescent current/350kHz bandwidth and operation from 2.5 to 5.5V.

The OPA347 is specified from -55 to +125C.

The OPA348 delivers an extended bandwidth of 1MHz and a supply current of 45uA.

The OPA348 is optimised for low-power, high-impedance applications operating on single 2.1 to 5.5V supplies.

The OPA348 is specified from -40 to +125C.

The OPA349 features 70kHz bandwidth on only 1uA quiescent current and operation from 1.8 to 5.5V.

The OPA349 is the ultimate low-power solution for high-density applications.

The OPA349 is specified from -40 to +125C.

The OPA347, OPA348 and OPA349 are available in SC70-5, SOT23-5 and SO-8 packages.

In addition to single versions, each family offers dual and quad options.

The OPA347 is priced from $0.47 in 1000 piece quantities.

The OPA348 is priced from $0.49 in 1000 piece quantities.

The OPA349 is priced from $0.69 in 1000 piece quantities (all suggested resale pricing).
