Fujitsu takes TI's route to 3G
Fujitsu has selected TI's OMAP application processors for its third-generation (3G) wireless handsets
'Fujitsu believes 3G wireless handsets will play a key role in the emerging ubiquitous network of the future', said Akikazu Yajima, Group President of Fujitsu's Mobile Phones Group. 'By incorporating TI's highly-scalable OMAP application processor, which reflects TI's considerable achievements and know-how in the area of wireless systems, we will be able to offer various solutions to our customers'.
