Wireless digital assistant uses OMAP

The Texas Instruments OMAP processor is being used to power Hewlett-Packard Company's first full-colour wireless digital assistant (WDA) - the HP Jornada 928 WDA - unveiled by HP at 3GSM World Congress. The HP Jornada 928 WDA harnesses the unique combination of power and performance of the OMAP710 processor, which delivers wireless data and voice to any wireless handheld device, to easily and effortlessly run advanced wireless applications, including enhanced voice, data and basic multimedia.
