Texas Instruments has released two high-efficiency PWM power drivers and an H-bridge that eliminate the need for large heatsinks required by most linear solutions for driving TEC elements.

Providing the industry's smallest and most efficient solution for driving thermoelectric cooler elements and biasing laser diodes in optical networking applications, Texas Instruments has released two high-efficiency PWM power drivers and an H-bridge that eliminate the need for large heatsinks required by most linear solutions The DRV59x family allows designers to shrink their solutions more than 80 percent compared to some discrete implementations
