The ClairityHD board supports full 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and delivers high-quality compressed video that conforms to the MPEG-4 part 10/AVC (H.264) standard while achieving a low bit rate of 8 to 10Mbit/s.
Based on the path breaking Telairity-1 multicore vector processor architecture, ClairityHD is powered by eight fully programmable T1P2000 video processors.
A high degree of silicon integration enables a compact board solution that supports AVC Level 4 and 1080i and 720p formats.
ClairityHD is ideal for applications including broadcast video over cable, satellite, and IP networks; post-production content creation and aggregation; video servers for storage and archives; and professional video editing and authoring.
It comes with a complete software development kit (SDK) that includes a sample GUI for an encoding application and documentation for the application programming interface (API).
The board will be shown on Booth SU 1639 at NAB2006 from 24th to 27th April 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
