The size and temperature range of the Half Cube chamber makes it suitable for testing a variety of small devices including semiconductors, disk drives, fibre components and handheld devices

TestEquity has released its new Half Cube temperature chamber. With a half-cubic-foot (14 litre) interior, it is reckoned to be the world's smallest self-contained refrigerated temperature chamber. The TestEquity Half Cube can simulate temperatures from -40 to +130C without CO2 or LN2. The size and temperature range makes it suitable for testing a variety of small devices including semiconductors, disk drives, fibre components and handheld devices.

The TestEquity Half Cube is small enough to fit on a workbench with plenty of room to spare.

It's 70% smaller and uses 33% less power than the typical benchtop chamber.

Low audible noise makes the Half Cube ideal for use in confined workspaces.

Requiring only 10A at 120V, it can plug it into any outlet and does not require a dedicated power line.

The TestEquity Half Cube includes a 256-step programmable temperature controller with RS232 interface (optional GPIB), an independent high/low temperature limit control, shelf, two 2in access ports, and a 3-year parts/1-year labour warranty for $5995.

Units are also available for rental, rental with option to buy, and lease.
