Teko's novel Teknet handheld enclosures can be ordered with the elastomer edge grips in different colours to match a corporate identity or standard product colour. This gives the Teknet cases a unique visual identity, different to the standard off-the-shelf enclosures. Typical applications for these enclosures include in-field test and measurement instruments, medical devices, data loggers and much more.
Teknet ergonomic handheld enclosures feature 'soft-touch' edge grips for secure and comfortable holding during use.
The standard case material is off-white or black ABS (UL94HB) with a modern textured finish.
The standard edge grips are in contrasting light grey or dark grey elastomer, but these can be moulded in other colours.
The external dimensions are 155 x 96mm in heights of 20, 24 and 28mm.
The top part is recessed for easy location of a membrane keypad.
Two models are offered with a battery compartment which accepts two 1.5V AA cells or one 9V cell.
Screw pillars are incorporated in the top and base mouldings for fitting PCBs.
Assembly is by four self-tapping screws.
Volume prices start at GBP 12.
Teko can modify these enclosures with all the necessary holes, cutouts, logos, legends, shielding etc, thus providing a completely finished housing ready for fitting components.
