Today, many new electronics systems are designed with the option of being mounting onto a DIN-rail in a control cabinet. Typical applications include factory production and machine control systems, communications equipment, security systems, and heating and air-conditioning units. As a result, many design engineers now favour standard off-the-shelf enclosures which offer a DIN-rail mounting option.
Following this customer demand, Teko has developed a new universal DIN-rail mounting kit that can be used with its popular ranges of plastic enclosures.
The DIN-rail mounting kit is designed to be fitted to DIN-rails manufactured in accordance with DIN EN50022.
The kit allows easy fitting and disengagement from the rail, and consists of three moulded parts.
One part is fitted to the case with fixing screws, the other clips onto the rail.
The third part is optional for direct fitting of the case to a wall, or panel within the cabinet, when not fitted to a DIN rail.
Teko offers an extensive line of plastic enclosures in many shapes and sizes.
Most models up to 200mm long can be mounted to a DIN rail using this mounting kit.
It is necessary to drill the base part of the case in order to fit the kit.
Teko can provide the cases predrilled for the kit, on request.
The kit is priced from GBP 2.80.
