Tektronix has been named a recipient of Intel Corp's prestigious 2004 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement award, Intel's highest honour for its suppliers

Tektronix has been named a recipient of Intel Corp's prestigious 2004 Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement (SCQI) award, Intel's highest honour for its suppliers, for outstanding commitment to quality and performance by suppliers that provide products and services deemed essential to Intel's success.

The company was given the award for its efforts in supplying Intel with test, measurement and monitoring equipment.

'Intel is an important customer to us around the world'.

'We have developed a close working relationship with Intel in many countries - one that pushes us to be on the leading edge of technology to enable them to innovate', said Rick Wills, Tektronix Chairman and CEO.

'We are especially honoured with this award because of the rigorous quality standards we must achieve to earn it'.

'I am proud of the team of Tektronix employees, from every organisation, in many areas of the world who contribute to this success'.

'Congratulations to Tektronix for earning the Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement Award', said Milind Karnik, General Manager, Intel Enterprise Platform Validation.

'Tektronix has shown discipline and results by responding to the challenge of supporting our global validation requirements and meeting the needs of our next generation platforms'.

The SCQI awards are part of Intel's Supplier Continuous Quality Improvement process, which encourages Intel's key suppliers to strive for excellence and continuous improvement.

To qualify for SCQI status, suppliers must score at least 95% on a report card that assesses performance and ability to meet cost, quality, availability, delivery, technology and responsiveness goals.
