The Technisys DRI digital recorder interface deserialises high speed data streams for parallel interfacing to recorders from either optical or electrical media

The 701207 optical module converts an STM-1 or OC-3 datastream into a form that can be recorded and played back from a digital recorder. The 701208 electrical module sends and receives CMI-encoded and NRZ data at STM-1 (155.52Mbit/s) and E4 (139.26Mbit/s) rates. On both modules, the datastream is rate adapted and provided to and from the digital recorder through an ECL interface.

Status indications such as clock lock, transmit, receive, data validity and data errors are provided on the front panel.

Technisys can provide customised data recorder interfaces to meet specific requirements.

The unit pricing for both modules begins at under US $4200 with significant discount for quantity orders.
