Standard RFI screening cans can be supplied on pick-and-place tape reels for the convenience of small, medium and high-volume OEMs and CEMs

RFI screening specialist Tecan is now offering a select range of standard cans on pick-and-place tape reels for the convenience of small, medium and high-volume OEMs and CEMs. They are exclusively available in the UK from Hitek Electronic Materials. The standard-pitch screening cans offer design engineers a fast and effective means of sourcing radio frequency interference (RFI) screening solutions at optimum cost for pick and place manufacturing.

The standard pick-and-place screening can range encompasses a select range of sizes and options, allowing users to select components which assure both maximum RFI performance and compatibility with individual production requirements.

Over three decades of experience and expertise has resulted in a progressive portfolio of screening cans which cater for all current electro-mechanical requirements, including low-profile and surface-mount offerings.

Based on standard component pitches, the cans can be supplied in either fence and spring-finger lid or five-sided can formats.

The selection process is made simple through the company's website, which now includes information regarding the whole range along with downloadable dimensional drawings.

Ordering online is also available.

If necessary, comprehensive technical support is offered.

Within the two formats offered for pick and place, Tecan offers 20 x 20, 30 x 20, 30 x 30, 50 x 25 and 50 x 50mm in three heights of 2.5, 5 and 10mm
