Surface-mount common-mode filters offer maximum radiation noise suppression for power lines, audio/video applications and car multimedia.

New from TDK Corp, the ACM4520-901 and ACM4520-142 surface-mount common-mode filters are designed to offer maximum radiation noise suppression for power lines, audio/video applications and car multimedia The ACM4520-901 offers 900ohm common-mode impedance at 100MHz and the ACM4520-142 offers 1400ohm common-mode impedance at 100MHz, with each component measuring just 4.7 x 4.5 x 2.0mm

The low profile and the reduced footprint are critical features for space constrained power supplies and power lines.

The ACM4520-901 has a typical DC resistance of 35mohm with a rated current of 2.0A, whereas the ACM4520-142 has a typical DC resistance of 45mohm with a rated current of 1.5A.

Both parts in the series have a rated maximum voltage of 50V.

Several other variants of the ACM4520 series are planned to extend the selection of maximum currents available, and to fulfil the requirements of a broad range of applications.

The ACM4520 series is RoHS compliant, completely lead-free and has a specified operating temperature from -40 to +85C.

The series is available now, supplied either in volume tape-and-reel packaging or in sample books.
