Smaller outline for ferrite beads
Ferrite beads offer increased design possibilities for space-constrained devices
New from TDK Corp, the latest addition to the MPZ1005 series of ferrite beads features reduced dimensions of 0.5 x 1 x 0.5mm and has been designed to offer increased design possibilities for space-constrained devices. The MPZ1005S100C also benefits from a reduced weight of 1mg. Offering reduced size but maintaining a maximum current capability of 2.0A and impedance value of 10ohm, means that the MPZ1005 series is ideal for power cables in a range of applications.

The MPZ1005 ferrite bead series features a cross magnetic construction, providing EMI countermeasures which reduce interference with nearby components.
The series also offers low DC resistance of 45mohm, reducing power consumption and heat output and has a specified operating temperature of -40 to +85C.
The MPZ1005 series is available now, supplied either in volume tape-and-reel packaging or in sample books for testing purposes.
