New from TDC are the PTM100 piezo transmitter module and RCM110 and RCM 120 multifunctional receiver modules from EnOcean.

New from TDC are the PTM100 piezo transmitter module and RCM110 and RCM 120 multifunctional receiver modules from EnOcean.

The new devices are most suited for buildings equipment and facility control, which can be easily integrated into operation and control units for the implementation of different application-specific system solutions.

The RCM110 and RCM 120 are used to receive and process radio "telegrams" transmitted by up to 30 EnOcean radio transmitters such as the PTM100.

With the functionality of four logic output signals controlled by EnOcean PTM switches or transmitters dependent on mode of operation selected, the modules also have six inputs for setup, operating and learning modes with learning procedure for EnOcean transmitters.

Additionally, the RCM110 and RCM120 also benefit from an integrated 90mm whip antenna with an option for an external mount antenna.

The PTM100 enables implementation of battery-less, wireless remote control - power supply is provided by an integrated piezo power generator.

On an event (a pushbutton being depressed), a piezo generated RF telegram is transmitted which includes a unique fixed 32bit module ID.

Key applications are on-wall mountable flat rocker switches with one, two or four rockers (with medial position), as well as handheld remote controls with up to eight single pushbuttons.

Operating at 868.3MHz, the PTM100 has an open-field transmission range of approximately 300m.

Development kits are available to aid in the evaluation and implementation of the EnOcean range of transmitters and receivers.

Additionally the modules are CE certified and conform to the EU R and TTE Directive on radio equipment.
