Dage Electronics Integrated Systems acquired

Global electronics manufacturing company TT Electronics has acquired Dage Electronics Integrated Systems (DEIS), a division of Dage Holdings, with sites in China and the UK.

Global electronics manufacturing company TT Electronics has acquired Dage Electronics Integrated Systems (DEIS), a division of Dage Holdings, with sites in China and the UK. The business is a well established contract electronics manufacturer with a blue chip client base and has manufacturing facilities in Suzhou near Shanghai, and Aylesbury in the UK. The acquisition provides significant benefits: increasing TT Electronics' contract manufacturing capacity in the UK; providing complementary technologies through the strength of DEIS' design and manufacture of backplanes including large format product; and adding a low-cost manufacturing facility in China for customers requiring a local supplier.

DEIS' considerable experience of manufacturing in the Chinese market allows TT Electronics to meet the local manufacturing requirements of the major OEM customers.

As part of the deal, DEIS' business will benefit from valuable access to TT Electronics' industry experience, its financial strength and the group's extensive European and North American customer base.

Speaking of the acquisition, Neil Rodgers, Chief Executive of TT Electronics says: 'This is a very exciting acquisition for TT Electronics, giving us an established manufacturing base in China, together with additional capacity for our UK contract manufacturing operations'.

'China is an increasingly important market and the Suzhou facilities support our planned growth in the region as well as significantly extending our global reach'.
