The flowPIM 0+P is an enlarged second-generation family of high power PFC modules in the flow 0 package, addressing the needs of high power PFC applications such as motor drives.
New from Tyco Electronics, the flowPIM 0+P is an enlarged second-generation family of high power PFC modules in the flow 0 package, addressing the needs of high power PFC applications such as motor drives connected to the public power grid (air blowers, pumps etc).
In total the family consists of three different versions in the range of 2.3 to 4.35kW.
The combination of low-loss trench IGBTs and fast low-loss reverse diodes in the inverter and the ultrafast Cool-MOS with the tandem boost diode in the PFC are claimed to provide an optimal design.
