Tyco Electronics has released an extended function package for its smallest GPS modules, the A1029A and A1029B.
Tyco Electronics has released an extended function package for its smallest GPS modules, the A1029A and A1029B.
In addition to the dead reckoning function, which was implemented in January 2005, the modules now have a whole set of auxiliary functions designed to enhance navigation.
For easy handling, particularly in a development and maintenance environment, additional software commands provide information on antenna status, the quality of a fix and an output of the raw GPS data as well as allowing software reset of the module.
