Sun's annual supplier awards programme, which entered its 15th year in 2005, was established to acknowledge suppliers for delivering superior quality and value to Sun's customers.

Companies are judged on their performance in the areas of cost, quality, innovation, lead-time and delivery, and strategic and technical development.

Sun's meritorious performance award recognises suppliers who have gone the extra mile in one or more performance areas.

Tyco Electronics Power Systems is one of 12 recipients of meritorious performance awards this year.
