The A1035-C is the commercial version in Tyco's smart antenna module family.

The A1035-C is the commercial version in Tyco's smart antenna module family.

The new module optimises on one carrier the combination of Tyco's successful A1029-A GPS module and of the RangeStar embedded GPS antenna.

An LNA provides highest performance, the input voltage is 3.3V.

With a board-to-board or cable connector the A1035-C can be used either in complete system designs or special antenna housings.

Based on SiGe's SE 4100L RF downconvertor and STMicroelectronics' STA2051 GPS processor the module offers high sensitivity in combination with a short time to first fix.

Information is transmitted on a UART CMOS TTL level interface or SPI.

The product can be customised and will be available for OEM application as a hardware core platform that can be integrated into different enclosures.
