Two new benchtop ionising air blowers offer easily portable localised static elimination

Static control specialist TBA Electro Conductive Products (ECP) has launched two new benchtop ionising air blowers that provide easily portable, localised static elimination solutions. The balanced ion streams delivered by the new blowers provide quick neutralisation of static charges in the work area.

The ECP SL-001 and SL-020 bench top air blowers feature built-in emitter cleaner, adjustable speed controls for the airflow, ionisation indicator lights, integrated blower and power supply.

Both units operate from 250V/50Hz AC supplies and are suitable for use over the temperature range 0 to +50C.

TBA ECP's new SL series benchtop ionising air blowers are ideal for use in electronics industry electrostatic protected areas (EPAs) for neutralising electrostatic fields resulting from unavoidable tribo charging activities such as removing protective plastic films from LCDs.

The blowers are also ideal for dealing with static problems experienced by printers, plastics and film processors and packaging companies.

Easy to set up and use, the new bench top blowers complement TBA ECP's extensive range of static control products that includes flooring, packaging and storage systems, grounding products, work surfaces and workstations, instrumentation, coatings and complementary services such as quality audits.

The company is capable of delivering floor-to-ceiling static control solutions encompassing everything required in ESD protection areas.
