Preliminary figures for the six months to 31st December 2001 indicate that Altium is comfortably on target for the previously stated expectations for sales revenue, and that positive trends are starting to emerge.

Kayvan Oboudiyat, Joint CEO Altium, commented: "Altium's results for the first six months of the 01-02 financial year place us on track to deliver the revenue targets announced at our AGM.

In the last month of Q2, encouraging signs began to emerge and we look forward to a continuation of this trend.

We remain confident in our strong strategic position: we are the only EDA software developer to focus purely on the desktop, and are excited about the next 12 months which will see us introduce new and innovative developments in technology to be included in several strategic new product releases and major product enhancements".

The final half year results are expected to be released in early March.
