The SiW3000 UltimateBlue chip and HCI software solution has received certification for the newly released Version 1.2 of the Bluetooth specification and has been listed on the Bluetooth SIG official website as a qualified component. The SiW3000 IC is in volume production today and is available exclusively from RF Micro Devices, Silicon Wave's global channel partner for its CMOS single-chip radio processor and stand-alone radio modem Bluetooth solutions.

The SiW3000 UltimateBlue single-chip Bluetooth solution delivers exceptional RF performance while being implemented on a low cost 0.18-micron CMOS process.
The highly integrated IC combines a direct conversion radio modem with an ARM7TDMI) processor core, Bluetooth baseband logic, and complete protocol software in ROM.
All active RF components have been integrated making it one of the lowest total cost solutions currently available.
The radio processor's robust, mature baseband delivers the extra MIPS needed for embedded applications and enables full scatternet support without performance degradation.
