New from Sunpower, the PS-35 Series are miniature open frame switching power supplies with a 4 x 2in profile targeting the miniature trend of electronic products in general industrial applications. The 5 x 3in form factor has dominated the PCB type power supply market for many years, and Sunpower provides several choices from 45 to 200W. Now the company is launching a smaller 4 x 2in PCB profile that it reckons will help the mainstream embedded PSU to follow the trend of miniature electronic products.
Using the latest circuit design concepts the range is able to provide efficiency up to 6% higher than the first generation of PCB products and full load power via free air convection at 50C.
Complying with UL, cUL, TUV, CB and CE global safety and performance standards, the supplies have complete protection mechanisms for short circuit, overload and overvoltage.
Complying with the requirements of the RoHS Directive, the design and component selection is based on a rigid procedure, and the reliability of these PSUs is fully secured.
