Designated the RNCS Series, these resistors are available in industry standard 0402 to 2512 sises.

The RNCS Series has a resistance range from 4.7ohm to 1Mohm in tolerances to 0.1% - with TCRs of 25ppm/C.

The RNCS Series is rated for operation from temperatures of -55 to +150C.

Regarding the availability of the RNCS Series in 1000-piece reels, Rob Hudspeth, Stackpole's Director of Sales and Marketing commented: "This offering is an extension of our commitment to continually provide value to our customers".

Typical applications for the RNCS Series of resistors include precision circuits such as attenuator circuits, bridge circuits, RC oscillators and active filters for instrumentation, medical equipment, computers, power supplies and telecommunications.

The RNCS Series is well suited for precision circuitry where moisture sensitivity and protection against harsh environments are a concern or where costly, long-lead-time tantalum nitride resistors are used.

In MIL-STD-202 moisture testing, the RNCS Series demonstrates excellent stability by showing no significant shift in resistance after more than 1000 hours of life and humidity testing.

RNCS Series pricing is tolerance and TCR dependent, but $0.20 is typical in quantities of 1000 pieces.
