STI Automation Products Group reckons its US20 self-contained ultrasonic sensors are reliable, user adjustable, require little or no maintenance and are easy to install. They provide a sensing range from 0.3 to 6m, work on solids or liquids, and provide digital, analogue and trip point outputs. These ultrasonic sensors function extremely well in harsh environments.

They can detect presence, level, volume, proximity and distance measurements making them ideal for any number of sensing applications, including industrial automation, collision avoidance, equipment positioning, tank measurement and control, and environmental monitoring.

US20 ultrasonic sensors are serial interface programmable with free software for Windows, DOS or Palm operating systems.

AutoSense software and internal temperature compensation neutralise variables such as ambient temperature, tank irregularities and humidity to provide accurate and reliable readings.
