Adding to its line of miniature and subminiature cable position transducers, SpaceAge Control is now shipping the Series 150, the smallest production position transducer available in the world.
Initially designed to measure aircraft control surface movement, the Series 150 line has been used in throttle linkage monitoring, anthropomorphic dummy body part measuring, biomedical instrumentation and RPV control validation.
The Series 150 offers conductive plastic elements, anodised machined-aluminium housings, unique threaded cable drums, stainless steel cable, and versatile mounting.
These features provide high accuracy, long life, enhanced repeatability and easy installation.
The 150 Series has a range of 0 to 38.1mm and weighs only 11g.
It has exterior dimensions of 19.1 x 19.1 x 9.7mm.
5Kohm resistance precision elements are used that have 0.5% independent linearity and 50-million-cycle life.
The products have variable cable tension, -65 to +125C operating temperature range, and 0.75W power rating.
Custom configurations are available for unique applications.
