Pure-systems has been accepted as a member of The MathWorks Connections Programme

This partnership is based on the company's pure::variants Connector for Simulink, which integrates pure::variants with Simulink. pure::variants Connector for Simulink enables models to be exchanged between Simulink and pure::variants, and automates the generation of Simulink model variants.

Aspects of the Simulink models are configured differently depending on the selected features for the model variant.

These can include model parameters and elements, blocks and signal connections to blocks.

A final model transformation produces Simulink models matching the desired features.

Mark Dalgarno, of Software Acumen, which distributes pure::variants in the UK and Ireland, also noted: 'MathWorks are the established leader in the embedded software market so it makes sense for pure-systems to work closely with them'.

'This partnership should raise the profile of variant management in the embedded community and could act as the catalyst for a new wave of model-based embedded software product lines'.
