Software Acumen is to participate in a conference exhibition which will showcase the leading tools and technologies available to automotive engineers and software developers

Software Acumen will be participating in a conference exhibition which will showcase the leading tools and technologies available to automotive engineers and software developers including the pure::variants toolset. The 2nd IEE automotive electronics Conference will take place on 20th and 21st March 2006 at the IEE in Savoy Place, London, UK.

The conference programme will address the key technologies of the automotive industry's future through four themed tracks: automotive software and systems; the future of road transport; electronic and powertrain control architectures; and vehicle highway communications.

Mark Dalgarno of Software Acumen said: 'Jens Weiland of DaimlerChrysler Research has been invited to speak about his experiences using pure::variants with Matlab/Simulink'.

'His presentation will bring the use of variant management to a much wider audience'.

'We will also have Danilo Beuche of pure-systems - the developer of pure::variants - on-hand to talk about migrating legacy systems to Software Product Lines so this is a great opportunity to come and see pure::variants in action and to find out about Software Product Lines and how they could be adopted in your development organisation'.
