Networking node provides flexible connections
Providing true protocol translation and not protocol packet encapsulation, the ProtoNode interfaces to over 85 building and industrial automation protocols
Designed to enable fast, flexible and easy interfacing of new or existing devices with other protocols, the ProtoNode from Solid State Supplies uses the extensive FieldServer driver library to support virtual nodes. This allows multiple OEM controllers to connect to a single ProtoNode and be seen as separate controllers on the various field networks.

The ProtoNode includes all the hardware and software required to enable the customer's products to interface to various networks.
It includes two serial ports and one Ethernet port.
Each ProtoNode is provided with the necessary protocol drivers and multiple drivers can be installed on a single device.
Custom driver support is also available.
Providing true protocol translation and not protocol packet encapsulation, the ProtoNode interfaces to over 85 building and industrial automation protocols and bridges between Allen Bradley DF1 or Modbus RTU or ASCII to BACnet MSTP/IP or Allen Bradley EtherNet/IP or Allen Bradley CSP as well as translating between Ethernet to Ethernet protocols such as Modbus TCP and Allen Bradley EtherNet/IP devices and vice versa.
Easily supporting the OEM's custom host serial or Ethernet protocols, the ProtoNode's multiple-client and multiple-server support ensures interoperability between any industrial or building automation protocols.
Flash upgradeable and RoHS compliant, ProtoNode can also be supplied for DIN rail mounting.
