The Si3054 and Si3024 are dual interface silicon direct access arrangements (DAAs), and are claimed as the industry's first DAAs to configure automatically to either an AC97 interface or the new Intel High Definition Audio interface Silicon Laboratories' new Si3054 and Si3024 DAAs are fully hardware and pin compatible with the company's industry-leading AC97 solutions allowing customers to immediately support High Definition Audio without changing the schematic, layout or bill-of-materials (BOM) of existing AC97 modem cards
