Universal-input switchers include medical models
Setec has two new ranges of low-power open-frame power supplies for use in ITE and medical applications
The GMS18 series of power supplies are open-frame 18W universal-input units for a wide range of low power medical and ITE applications. Units feature: overvoltage protection; small efficient design (81% efficiency); medical approval CE Mark and UL approvals. Single outputs of 5, 12 and 24V are available with respective current ratings of 3.8, 1.5 and 0.75A.

There are single-, dual- and triple-output modules.
These supplies feature: 90-275V AC universal input range; CE Mark and UL/CSA EN60950 approvals; a EN55022 Class B input line filter; EN55024 immunity; short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection; and an optional power fail signal.
