Summit Design has joined the Open SystemC Initiative as an Associate Corporate Member.
Summit Design is contributing to the technical development within OSCI through its participation in the technical working groups of the organisation and is helping to drive SystemC usage and acceptance in the electronic system level marketplace.
"We're pleased to further expand our involvement in the growing membership of the Open SystemC Initiative", said Guy Moshe, CEO and President of Summit Design.
"For several years now, we have supported C and its derivatives for system modelling and verification to improve the productivity of system-level designers".
"SystemC provides a powerful infrastructure through its C/C++ abstraction and its natural linkage to software and will set an important milestone in the roadmap toward future submicron designs".
"OSCI continues to catalyse and build the momentum for SystemC as the open industry standard for system-level design", stated Guido Arnout, President of OSCI.
"We are pleased to have Summit Design become an Associate Corporate member of OSCI and take an even more active role in our working groups".
