New from Selwyn Electronics, the Odu Medi Snap connector range is a miniature all plastic low cost connector developed for the medical market but suitable for other industrial applications. The Odu Medi Snap connector range has an outside diameter of 14mm with 2-14 contact options, and features a reliable push-pull locking mechanism which can be operated quickly and easily, particularly in blind mate situations. The connector body is manufactured using PSU and PEI plastic material, which allows sterilisation, and is available with colour coded options for easy identification and a keying option to allow coding.

It is available in straight and right angle housings with cable to cable or cable to panel mating.

Currently, solder and PCB terminations are available, with crimp termination to follow soon.

To accompany the all plastic, push-pull locking connector range, various customisations have been developed to meet specific customer needs.

These variants include a metal housing option to offer a more robust connector and a low cost snap-in 'disposable' connector to be used on throwaway medical applications.

The Odu Medi Snap connector range offers high flexibility and low cost, particularly for medical applications.

The connectors are also suitable for a much wider range of applications.
