Overvoltage protector guards Motorola consoles
Transtector Systems has developed a novel high-speed high-current solid-state surge suppressor to protect first responder headsets and CIE processor applications
The silicon suppressor (SASD) offers optimal protection against lightning strikes, electrostatic discharge and power line crossing events for Centracom, Centracom Gold and Centracom Gold Elite dispatch consoles. "Until recently, dispatch operators have had limited protection against overvoltage events," says Mark Hendricks, Projects Engineering at Transtector.
