Si-Gate has developed a versatile automotive data logger suitable for gathering important vehicle information in real time. With industry firsts such as 'instant on' technology, integrated GPS, accelerometer, and CompactFlash capabilities, the VDL-1000 can record nearly every aspect along a testing route. Si-Gate develops products and electronic solutions for the automotive and OEM markets, and offers custom development of automotive electronic control units for both prototyping and low volume production runs.

Si-Gate also develops embedded software and custom FPGA code/IP development, with a core focus on the application of state-of-the-art technology into new automotive systems.

'By combining features like low power sleep mode and wake up on CAN input together with the ability to record vehicle network information in real time without requiring expensive PC based equipment (such as laptops), we believe the Si-Gate VDL-1000 offers quiet an attractive low cost solution for our customers'.

The Si-Gate VDL-1000 is a complete data logging system designed to capture important vehicle information combined with critical sensor data which can be easily retrieved after vehicle testing via CompactFlash card or USB.

Based on a predefined ASCII configuration file, the user is only one step away from instant data logging.

The VDL-1000 is ideally suited for applications like fleet vehicle management or vehicle networking where flexibility and ease of use are needed to capture important information.
