SiGe Semiconductor has developed a transceiver chipset designed to optimise performance of WiMAX systems, broadband wireless access (BWA) applications and wireless local loop equipment The transceiver features a broad transmit tuning range and multiple baseband interfaces, allowing equipment manufacturers to reduce cost and time to market by re-using a proven RF chain to address worldwide requirements
