The ring illuminated PSE M22R piezo switch is a vandal-protected device ideal for use in tight spaces. Illuminated piezo switches are found in many different applications. As the actuating areas are illuminated, they are ideal for equipment designed for nighttime use.

The ring illumination can also be used for optical feedback or for status display (on/off).

With a 20 million life cycle operation, the switch requires little servicing.

Unlike mechanical switches, piezo switches have no moving parts, offering the advantage that even under continuous operation, there is no risk of loss of function due to parts wearing out.

The switches are completely sealed by design and all the electronics are encapsulated inside the housing.

No fluids or dirt can therefore penetrate inside the switch.

The switches are rated to IP67 specifications and an O-ring is supplied to seal the front plate.

With a mounting diameter of only 22mm, the PSE M22R is the smallest ring illuminated piezo switch in the range.

The housing is made of anodised aluminium and is available in various colours.

The ring illumination is available in red and green and also bicolour red/green.

Connection of the switch is either via wire or, alternatively, via a Molex-type connector.

The socket features a D-shaped area to allow for the correct positioning of marked switches.

Various standard type fonts are available for marking the switches using Schurter's in-house laser marking machine.

Customer-specific type fonts and symbols can also be used.
