Sager Electronics has signed a new distribution agreement with the power conversion business of Emerson Network Power. This expanded agreement authorises Sager to sell all standard Astec AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies and convertors including the previously authorised Artesyn products. According to Greg Hester, Vice President of North American Sales for Emerson Network Power's power conversion business: 'Based on Sager's growth strategy for power and their performance with Artesyn, Sager was a clear choice for Emerson'.
'The company's understanding of the marketplace and its insight into customers' requirements were critical qualities that drove our decision to expand the partnership'.
'Sager has made a strategic decision to expand its presence in the power supply market and the addition of the Astec brand to our line card bolsters our ability to support the power supply requirements of our customers', said Mike Zadravec, Sager Electronics' Director of Product Marketing.
