Saft derived the key performance parameters for the new MP 176065 cell from an analysis of market trends combined with the demands of customers who called for increased energy and power as well as improved charge and discharge characteristics at low temperatures. The result is a cell which offers: 6.8 Ah capacity when charged at 4.2 V @+20C; 2C continuous drain capability with maximum 4C peak; discharge possible down to -50C at a rate of C/5; large charging window from +60C down to -20C. The new MP 1766065 cell is on display on the Saft stand (B2.660) and a datasheet is available - it can also be downloaded from the Saft website.
