Selectronix can supply a range of space-saving data transmission solutions using stacked and ganged SFP cages for Fibre Channel, gigabit Ethernet and Infiniband protocols. With connectors capable of supporting datarates of 5Gbit/s and beyond, the small form-factor pluggable (SFP) stacked and ganged system allows designers the flexibility of using several protocols while using the minimum possible centre-line spacing. Stacked designs include 2 x 1 and 2 x 4.

Ganged versions are available in 1 x 2, 1 x 4 and 1 x 6.

Most are press-fit, but there is also a solder style 1 x 4 ganged.

Accommodating all SFP MSA-compatible transceivers in both copper and fibre optic formats, the system's compliant-pin termination for both cage and connector mean both simple termination and easy removal for rework with replacement components.

Applications include Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, ATM/Sonet/SDH, Infiniband and FDDI
