The Gp668 gang/set production programmer has been enhanced by the inclusion of an embedded web server.
This means that the programmer can be controlled from any computer with a serial port using a web browser.
No special PC software is required, ensuring that the computer interface is always at the same revision as the programmer.
Additionally it will always work on all operating systems without the need for modification when new versions of operating systems are released.
The web browser provides familiar operation without having to learn a new program.
Operation is by the pressing of "buttons" on the computer screen with feedback on the screen of the results of operations.
A device counter is included which may be set to the number of devices required to be programmed.
When this number of correctly programmed devices is reached further programming operations are disabled until the counter is reset.
Serial number insertion is provided which only requires one copy of the program data.
Therefore with the standard 32Mbyte RAM serial numbers can be inserted into devices of up to 256Mbit.
Serial number formats offered are binary, ASCII and BCD with individual addressing for each byte.

Support is provided for individual sector locking of up to 256 sectors for Flash memory devices.
