New supplier to the networking, data centre and telephony connectivity sectors combines South African Modrac range with its own T-Racks series.

Data Cabinets UK is a new company that has been set up to handle the entire portfolio of products from South African market leader Modrac as well as its own cost effective entry-level T-Racks range of wall and floor cabinets, server cabinets and a comprehensive range of accessories.

Peter Jepson, who has over 30 years production and sales experience in the industry, is heading up the new company, which is based in Nottinghamshire.

Data Cabinets UK is a subsidiary of TUK, a company well known among leading distributors and manufacturers as a supplier of OEM network connectivity products since 1984.

TUK's Managing Director, Stephen Mercer, explains: "Since the recent refinancing of TUK we have been looking for opportunities to add strong businesses to our group".

"We have great confidence in this team and the product offering and we are very excited about working with Peter".

Jepson has worked extensively with Modrac and is enthusiastic about the new venture.

He comments: "We will carry the complete range from their standard wall mounted, free standing and server cabinets to their advanced niche offerings including the EnviroRac 'data centre in a box'".

"Together with the T-Racks high-value offering, this marks the entry of an exciting new supplier to the networking, data centre and telephony connectivity sectors".
