Matched impedance connectors
run past 2Gbit/s
True matched impedance connectors combine High Speed Twinax, Quadrax and rugged Hyperboloid contacts for Ethernet, Firewire and Fibre Channel applications
Sabritec has developed a line of true matched impedance connectors that combine its High Speed Twinax, Quadrax and rugged Hyperboloid contacts for Ethernet, Firewire and Fibre Channel applications. Sabritec has combined true differential pair matched impedance Twinax and Quadrax contacts where the differential pair and signal to shield impedance is maintained throughout the connector pair along with the high reliability wear resistance of Hypertac's Hyperboloid contact technology.

The innovative new line of ruggedised twinax and quadrax contacts are ideal for blind mate I/O plug in modular applications, board to board high speed data transfer applications exceeding 2Gbit/s, as well as circular and rack and panel connector applications.
Sabritec's DST and DSQ contact types are available for ARINC 404, ARINC 600, MIL-DTL-38999, rugged D-sub and other blind mate connector shell styles.
The hyperboloid contact outperforms other contact interconnect options in terms of performance, reliability, number of mating cycles, contact mating force, and low contact resistance.
Dura-Speed Quadrax (DSQ) and Dura-Speed Twinax (DST) contacts feature a Hyperboloid shaped basket of individual spring wires that provide up to 10,000 mating cycles, nearly half the resistance of conventional contact designs, immunity to shock and vibration, extremely low insertion/extraction forces, and 360-degree wiping action.
