RS Components has been named as winner of the Best Multi-Channel Business category in this year's ECMOD Awards.

RS Components has been named as winner of the Best Multi-Channel Business category in this year's ECMOD Awards announced during a special ceremony at the Wembley Conference and Exhibition Centre in London.

The awards are organised annually to recognise best practise among European catalogue and mail order companies, and this year's announcement saw RS beat off strong competition from a record number of entries.

This is the second year in succession that RS has won this award and is recognition of the considerable success RS has enjoyed over the past 8 years in developing an integrated range of channels that offer customers total flexibility and value while also maintaining the company's position at the forefront of technological change.

These elements include the industry-renowned seven-part RS catalogue, CD-ROM, an award-winning website, a network of nationwide trade counters and numerous direct mail initiatives.
