The new 1U Series Slimline, a range of hydraulic magnetic circuit breakers developed especially for rack-mount applications, promises designers, electrical equipment manufacturers and end users increased power density without compromising performance. Manufactured by Eaton Heinemann the 1U Series Slimline is a world's first and available exclusively in the UK through Rowe Hankins Components.

Positive operation is assured by a patented snap-action movement.
This controls the contacts through a stored energy mechanism closing them in one swift action when the operator moves the handle to 'on'.
This advanced feature helps prevent premature contact failure, increases efficiency and permits higher current ratings.
In addition to higher device packing density, the compact size gives designers much more flexibility.
The hydraulic magnetic mechanism can be calibrated against medium, short or instantaneous delay trip curves.
Nuisance tripping is completely avoided and a 100% rated performance is delivered, even at raised temperatures and with current inrush.
1U Series Slimline circuit beakers are available in current ranges 1 to 100A and are rated 80V DC and up to 240V AC.
They perform reliably in temperatures from -40 to +80C.
The units are CE marked and accepted by Underwriters Laboratories as compliant with UL489 for branch circuit protection.
