2005 will be a year of significant growth for Radioplan, involving new customers, new headquarters and new offices in a number of markets worldwide. With a raft of significant new customer contracts set to be announced in the new year, Radioplan is focusing on delivering both automatic optimisation software solutions and professional optimisation services.

'Our rapidly growing customer base, which includes mobile operators with tens of millions of customers, means we have to take Radioplan to another operational level, and we're concentrating carefully on execution while expanding the business in controlled manner', said Dietrich Hunold, Technical Director.

To support that expansion, the company recently signed contracts to relocate to larger offices in Dresden, Germany, with the new space allowing for a redoubling of full-time staff over the coming months.

'We've already more than doubled our full time professional staff over the past year, hiring engineers with planning and optimisation experience in major 3G mobile operators that allows them to work very closely with end customers, and we're now planning ahead for continued growth', said Johannes Huebner, Radioplan's Executive Manager.

Radioplan is also actively investing in partnerships and facilities in global markets, ensuring that customers in different time zones have the best possible access to competent local support teams.

'We're putting in place the correct infrastructure to provide the highly responsive support service level our customers will continue to expect from Radioplan as we expand'.

'It's important that we are ready to serve their needs in a timely fashion, and we are investing today to ensure we are able to deliver in a professional manner in the future', continued Huebner.

Radioplan's popular WiNeS automatic RF optimisation software was recently upgraded to version 3.2.

This release features advanced neighbour list optimisation, using both planning and measurement data to ensure a more reliable result, enhanced support for a wide range of network planning tools, and new, easy-to-use workflow wizards to simplify day-to-day use.

WiNeS is now in service with a wide range of UMTS mobile operators across the globe.
