Rohm has expanded its family of compact chip resistors with a new series of ultralow-ohmic, 1W devices that offer extended temperature operation and are ideal for current detection circuits and applications requiring high current handling and high speed switching. Offering 1W power ratings in a 2512 package style, the new PMR100 ultralow-ohmic resistors are available with 11 different resistance values between 1 and 10mohm. Each resistor value is available with tolerance options of 15 or of 11%.

All the new resistors have a board-mounting footprint of 6.40 x 2.5mm.

Device profiles range from just 0.32mm for resistors in the 6 to 10mohm range, to 0.52mm for the 1mohm devices.

PMR100 resistors feature a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +155C, making them ideal for industrial and automotive environments.

Temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) ratings are 150ppm/C for devices in the 1 to 2mohm range, and 100ppm/C for all other resistors in the series.
