A new range of low ohmic thick film chip resistors from Rohm offer power ratings of between 0.25 and 1.0W and are available in five sizes ranging from 2512 down to just 0805. The new MCR10 (0805), MCR18 (1206), MCR25 (1210), MCR50 (2010) and MCR100 (2512) low ohmic resistors feature resistance ratings of between 47 and 91mohm and tolerance options of 15 or 11%. Rated power for the MCR10 and MCR18 devices is 0.25W, increasing to 0.50W for the MCR25 and MC50 devices.

The MCR100 resistors have a 1W power rating.

Ideal for high-component-density applications, the MCR series are particularly suited for use in current detection circuits.

Extended temperature ranges of -55 to +155C for the MCR10 and MCR18 devices, and -55 to +125C for the MCR25, MCR50, and MCR100 resistors, ensure compatibility with a variety of industrial and automotive design requirements.
