The latest addition to Rohm's family of very low tolerance miniature chip resistors are devices in 0603 (1608) packages that exhibit stable, high-precision characteristics across an extended temperature range. Offering tolerances of just 0.5%, the new additions to the MCR03 series of thick-film rectangular chip resistors will suit high-precision, high component density designs in a wide range of automotive, industrial and consumer applications. Operating temperature range for the devices is specified as -55 to +155C, while temperature coefficient is down to just +/-50ppm/C.

Resistors in the 0.5% tolerance MCR03 series offer resistance values from 100ohm to 910kohm and can be used with voltages up to 50V.

Power ratings of up to 0.1W are guaranteed at temperatures below 70C.

The new 0603 high-precision resistors are supplied in tape-and-reel format for ease of use with modern, high-volume PCB manufacturing systems.
