A new option for the R and S CMU2000 offers an integrated solution for testing wideband adaptive multirate handsets.
While entire multimedia worlds have now been integrated into mobile phones, the quality of voice transmission has received less attention of late.
Now network operators and mobile phone manufacturers are aiming to improve quality by offering wideband adaptive multirate (WB-AMR), featuring a new wide-bandwidth voice codec.
To offer a reliable solution for WB-AMR testing on both 2G and 3G mobile phones, Rohde and Schwarz has expanded the R and S CMU200 by offering the R and S CMU-K46 option.
